Computer Systems Consultants, Inc. was founded in 1981, and has a
professional staff of programmers, systems analysts,
support personnel, and hardware technicians. CSC has
concentrated on medical systems since the early
1990's and is the developer of
The Physician's
Paperless Office®, a system used by medical
practices since 1995. It uses scanning, faxing and
graphics technology to improve the quality of
patient care while reducing the costs of managing
patient clinical information. |

Practitioners especially like the flexibility of the
notes systems. Different users within the same
practice can generate notes in any one of ten
different ways including using external
transcription services, the 'Check Box' encounter
that generates notes by clicking check boxes, and
voice recognition.
The philosophy of Computer Systems Consultants,
Inc., is to insure a successful, high-impact
computer installation for its clients, and then
continue to provide support to maintain a high
quality operation for the larger practices or
organizations with their own in-house staff, or
smaller organizations which do not have a staff. We
serve as consultants to management and we do provide
technical support services. |

We require clients to have Internet or phone
telecommunications so that we may instantly access
the network in the event of problems. Although we
support clients all over the US and Canada, problems
can usually be solved within a few minutes using
this approach. Locally, we still use
telecommunications support because of the speed and
efficiency with which problems (or training) can be
dealt with. |
