BASIC (First Day) AS/PC® WORKSHOP CLASS
The Basic (first day) session presumes knowledge of Windows® and use of the AS/PC® medical billing system.  All new features are briefly reviewed.   This class is for office managers and billing staff that have been using ASPC® for at least several months and is excellent for experienced office managers that want to learn more to improve payments, billing, and management of the practice from real experts.  File maintenance issues are discussed.  Billing entry, payments entry and claim generation is reviewed including claims processing and  end-of day, end-of- month procedures.   The class includes brief demonstrations of add-on software that will automatically post payments, help with scheduling and notes, and reduce filing costs.   Office Managers that have not attended formal training should attend this course.   Specific practice problem examples will be presented and dealt with as part of the class.   Each practice attendee has a computer to use for exercises, so attendance is limited.

ADVANCED AS/PC® WORKSHOP
You must have attended the Basic Class to attend this workshop.  More advanced topics including queries, report generation, utilities and shortcut keys are introduced.  You will also learn about electronic claims submission, how to electronically identify and re-submit un-paid claims, how to clean up your system, the billing changes being implemented by CMS, and what you need to do to make sure you will be paid.

On-site attendance is limited.  Web attendance is available by special request only and is not recommended.  If you are current on your Support Agreement with DBC, we will make sure you have the current version of ASPC®, or we will order and provide you with a copy as part of the class so you can take advantage of what is taught in the class.

TRAINERS
The guest trainer for 2008 sessions is Ms. Kimberly Greene who has been a part-time consultant with CSC for many years and is an expert in Medical Billing.   She has used ASPC® for more than 15 years and currently provides billing services for a half-dozen different types of practices.

Raymond Latham, president of CSC, will conduct portions of the class and moderate the sessions.   He is an expert on office systems, designed ‘The Total Solution’ software that can move practices toward a paperless office, and has been a dealer for ASPC® since 1995.

We recommend each practice purchase the Training CD which allows you to review seminar contents and is yours to keep.  It costs $249 plus shipping and taxes.  New employees can use this to learn the system.  If you want to order it, circle this paragraph, fax it back, and we will send an order form.

ASPC® Billing System WORKSHOPS

• *Early Registration Deadline Dates are Wednesday, One Week prior to the date of the class.  Registration forms and payment must be received by this date to qualify for the $50 Early Registration Discount.  Only seminars with an ‘*’ are eligible for the early discount. 

• Clients with any CSC Support Agreement can attend Seminars or Workshops and receive an additional $50 discount per attendee as a benefit of that Agreement.  There is no limit to the number of attendees that qualify for this discount.

Any practice that uses the AS/PC® medical billing system should attend this class at least once every three years, more frequently if there is staff turnover.
