This is a very useful method by which staff
members can communicate internally. For example, if the billing personnel
need a new insurance card, a message can be placed in the system to display
the request for the next person who talks to the patient, or when they check
in, etc.
Simply select ‘Pop Up Messages’ from the edit
menu bar at the top of the screen.
The following will appear, so you can enter the
message and when it is to appear and be sure to click on ‘ACTIVE’. Then, the
resulting message will appear on that event. The user who completes the task
can remove the message.
