The proprietary Clinical Mailbox System that is built into The
Physician’s Paperless Office® is designed for doctors, nurses,
technicians, and clinicians to check for the following and take action
quickly and easily:
- Review/Approve ‘Draft’ patient notes or send them back for correction
- Review newly arrived tests, approve them or take action
- Receive internal office clinical messages such as phone calls linked
to a patient
- Review any forms, electronically sign them, and forward them to others
If you have an electronic lab interface, lab results are filed in the
chart upon receipt into the practice and the mailbox is updated within
seconds. Doctors can review all labs in the same day they were tested by the
lab, with no labor cost or time lost in the practice!

The Clinical ‘Mailbox’ button is always available to be checked. Pressing it
opens the Mailbox screen. To review only ‘Draft Progress Notes’, press that
button.

Double clicking on a line takes you to that item in the chart. From there,
you can navigate to any other part of the patient chart.

Urgent items can be indicated.
