Doctors and nurses use this screen while seeing patients in the clinical
area. The information on the top half of the screen is filled in as part of
the check-in process and is displayed for information only.
The Top
Buttons are for Chart REFERENCE. Access any part of the chart with these
buttons.

This area of the clinical screen is for ‘action items’. Indicate the
procedures, order tests, generate forms or Patient Education documents.
Write a prescription and even fax it while the patient is there.
To switch to a different patient click the ‘Switch Patient’ button. Only
‘checked in’ patients appear on the list.
THIS SCREEN REPLACES THE ENCOUNTER FORM! ALL CODES CAN BE ACCESSED BY ‘POINT
AND SHOOT’. The information for Diagnosis and various charges can be entered
in any order.
With the Quik-Notes system, you can even generate patient notes while
generating the codes for normal visits.
The PES button is for patient education. Sheets can be printed which will be
at the front desk for the patient. They are logged to the chart. Videos can
also be included, which show patients how to do things such as adjusting an
appliance, or how an operation will work such as an angiogram.
