The CSC Patient Appointments Scheduler
When a patient calls and forgot when they have an appointment,
with a paper system, you have to search through all of the pages.
With this system, one click displays past and future appointments.
Another click will take you to the appointment so you can change or
cancel if needed.
How Does It Help?
Doctors can get a report showing their work day and the patients
that are expected along with the problems. They can also block their
own time so that appointments won’t be made for vacation, meeting or
other times.
A scheduled appointment is the first step in the encounter
sequence. Some patients won’t show, but patients who arrive are the
second step in the process, which now starts to be documented if you
use The Physician’s Paperless Office®. When the doctor is
‘done’ with the patient, the billing information is sent to the
billing system and the appointment is ‘closed’ to history. Clinical
information is stored along with appointment information on the
encounter. So, the appointment is an important part of the
documentation and is the first step in the encounter. This system
helps manage your appointments, resources, while preparing for the
encounter cycle.
What Is It Integrated With?
This version is seamlessly integrated with the AS/PC® Practice
Management System. You can evaluate the product by installing it and
using the demo data that is provided. Then, follow the directions
and load the system with your data. NO DATA IN THE AS/PC® SYSTEM IS
TOUCHED OR ALTERED, WITH THE EXCEPTION OF THE ‘NEXT APPOINTMENT’
DATE, once the system is activated.
